Honker Nation started in 1993 with three leased fields, a beat-up pickup, a pile of decoys we called the junkyard spread, and one goal: shoot birds. No trailers, no custom pits, no high-dollar gear — just ground the geese wanted to use and hunters willing to be cold to earn it.

Thirty years later the junkyard spread is gone. Today we run full-body decoy spreads, dug-in pit blinds with custom lids, and a scouting program that reads the fields every morning before first light. The gear got better because the geese got smarter — and so did we.

What hasn't changed is the lease list. Our fields sit across Weld, Larimer, and Morgan counties — corn, wheat, and sugar beet ground the birds hammer on their way through the front range. Every hunt is on private land we hold the keys to. No walk-ins, no crowds, no racing another outfit to the roost.
